
GBF 2019: Brand Identity and Event Experience
“Learn, Share, Apply”
Background:
Grupo Bimbo is a global leader in the baking industry, with operations spanning 35 countries and over 100 brands. Each year, the company hosts its largest internal event—the Global Business Forum (GBF)—bringing together executives and sales leaders from across the globe for a week of learning, innovation, and connection.
Scope & Impact:
I led the creative development of the 2019 GBF, building a cohesive brand identity and experience system for the event. This included brand messaging, visual identity, experience design, environmental and wayfinding graphics, executive presentation materials, and branded swag.
My team and I also supported the development of a custom app that allowed attendees to connect, share, and explore, complete with custom emojis inspired by the brand.
The success of this project opened the door to further collaborations across Asia, Europe and Latin America, solidifying the power of thoughtful, globally resonant design.
