Background:
TSC’s holiday campaign launched in a year when Canadians were especially cautious about spending. A national survey showed that 92% were concerned about rising living costs, and 35% reported anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges.
With budgets tight and stress levels high, we needed to position TSC as a joyful, stress-free destination for affordable holiday shopping—offering exciting deals, flexible payments, and thoughtful gifts for everyone on the list.
Scope & Impact:
We developed a unified visual platform and launched a full-scale campaign across paid and owned channels. Over 600 assets went live simultaneously, building buzz around TSC’s wide range of gift ideas—from designer fashion to stocking stuffers and everyday essentials. The creative tapped into the emotional rewards of thoughtful giving, while easing the pressure with smart, accessible choices.
The campaign struck the right balance of warmth and practicality, helping customers feel good about what they gave and how they shopped. Backed by strong insight and bold execution, it won multiple industry awards and drove meaningful engagement during TSC’s most important season.
